Ayurveda means "the science of life". It is the sister science to Yoga and it originated in India more than 10, 000 years ago. It is believed that Ayurveda is the oldest healing science in existence, from which all other systmes (including Western Medicine) have emerged. Pronounced "eye-your-vay-da", this ancient healing system has three main focuses:
1) healing illness
2) prevention of disease
3) longevity or age reversal.
The basic overview of Ayurveda is that all of life are combinations of five energy-elements: Ehter/Air (vata), fire (pitta) and water/earch (kapha. When these elements are balanced, one is healthy. Illness is defined as an imbalance of these elements: all disorders are excesses of one or more elements.

Yoga Teacher Training
Our vision in creating a 200hr Yoga Teacher Training Program is to provide the trained instructors with the knowledge and skills to look at their student as a whole and to provide the best yoga experience possible to them. We believe that the body has the innate ability to heal itself and through our teacher training, we will foster that attitude and transfer it into our teaching so that each student we come into contact with will feel the grace and power within themselves to heal at their own level.
We are proud and excited to bring you this opportunity to study with us.
Our Curriculum follows the Yoga Alliance Standards and criteria for YTT200hrs*:
